HARLINGEN — Harlingen police have identified 65-year-old Edna Fay Lasley as the victim of a Monday fatal auto-pedestrian crash.
Daniel James Wirsche, 27, is suspected of being the driver, according to a police press release.
Lasley was struck and killed around 7:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Business 77 near the intersection of Ed Carey Drive, police said.
According to the police press release, Wirsche was charged with manslaughter. Bond was set at $30,000.
He was transferred to the Cameron County Jail, police said.
