Cameron County health officials will hold a vaccination clinic on Thursday for area teachers and educators.

It will be held at the Los Fresnos Fire & EMS at 100 Rodeo Drive for educators from the following districts:

>> Santa Maria ISD

>> Marine Military Academy

>> Santa Rosa ISD

>> Jubilee Academies

>> Neighbors in Need of Services, INC (NINOS)

>> South Texas ISD

>> Harmony Schools

>> Diocese of Brownsville

>> IDEA Public Schools

>> Los Fresnos ISD

>> San Benito CISD

Everyone will receive Moderna vaccines and are asked to arrive at the time scheduled with your school district. You will be required to show an ID, fill the paperwork ahead of time and remain in your vehicle.

The county says it has allocated vaccines for the Harlingen and Brownsville school districts. It has also given first-dose vaccinations to cities of Los Fresnos, Port Isabel and Los Indios and second-dose injections to the cities of Brownsville, Harlingen and San Benito. Each city is handling its own pre-registration.
