EDINBURG — Two roads next to the Hidalgo County courthouse will temporarily close for the weekend to accommodate construction.
According to a release from the county, sections of Cano and 12th streets immediately adjacent to courthouse construction will close at midnight on Friday and remain closed until Monday.
“The closure will tie in the storm system for the new Hidalgo County Courthouse into the recently improved city storm water system,” the release said. “Drivers are asked to avoid that area throughout the weekend.”
