The clinic, which is hosted by Hidalgo County and Edinburg CISD, will take place at the Richard R. Flores Stadium, 1800 S. Stadium Drive in Edinburg, the same place residents should sign up for the vaccination on Tuesday.

The clinic will run on a first come, first serve basis.

Hidalgo County Health and Human Services will begin administering vaccines at 7 a.m. Wednesday to those who were able to register the day before and received a wristband.

The clinic will be focused on vaccinating healthcare workers and anyone older than 65, in addition to those older than 18 with certain medical conditions that make them eligible to be vaccinated.

Those who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance on Dec. 30, 2020 are scheduled to receive their second shot on Wednesday.

DHR Health’s distribution of the second dose at the center, located at 118 Paseo Del Prado in Edinburg, will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.
