Su Clinic received $50,000 from Molina Healthcare

Molina Healthcare of Texas recently donated $50,000 to Su Clinica in Brownsville to support its area clinics in providing high-quality medical and dental access to patients in need.

On Nov. 17, Anne Rote, president of Molina Healthcare of Texas, provided Su Clinica with a ceremonial check during a virtual press conference.

“Molina Healthcare of Texas is proud to support Su Clinica because of its tremendous efforts in helping care for our local communities during this especially challenging year,” said Anne Rote, plan president for Molina Healthcare of Texas. “Molina will be providing additional funding to a series of Federally Qualified Health Centers throughout the state as a continuing gesture of support in serving the health needs of Texans.”

Su Clinica offers health services in pediatrics, women’s health, adult medicine and dental care. Since 1971, Su Clinica has served the residents of Cameron and Willacy Counties at its clinics in Brownsville, Harlingen, Raymondville and Santa Rosa.

“On behalf of Su Clinica and the patients we serve, we want to thank Molina Healthcare for this donation” said Cheryl Sproles, Director of Community Outreach/Community Relations at Su Clinica.

Sproles said collaborations with groups like Molina, allows the clinic to provide access to high-quality comprehensive medical care, health education and support services to Valley residents.
