Police are investigating a traffic accident that left one man dead in Brownsville on Monday, as well as a car roll over that occurred early Tuesday morning, according to the Brownsville Police Department.
Brownsville PD reported that officers responded to the 1800 block of North Expressway 77 Southbound Frontage Rd. on Monday at 10:11 p.m. in response to a major traffic accident involving a pedestrian.
Officers arrived on scene and found a 63-year-old male subject deceased at the location. The case remains under investigation.
“The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No other information is available at this time,” wrote the department in a statement.
A second traffic accident on Tuesday involved a vehicle roll over on the 1800 block of Palm Boulevard.
According to Brownsville PD, officers responded to the accident at 8:13 a.m. and conducted a traffic investigation.
“Five subjects that were involved in the accident were transported tot he hospital with no life threatening injuries. At this time the traffic accident remains under investigation,” the department wrote.
