McAllen police arrest 2 in stolen travel trailer case

McAllen police arrested Adan Omar Salinas and Christopher Lee Rodriguez on Wednesday on a charge of theft. Rodriguez is also charged with assault on a public servant. Salinas received a $10,000 bond while Rodriguez received a total of $20,000 in bonds.

McAllen police are asking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect and vehicle involved in the theft of a travel trailer which occurred on New Year’s Day.

According to a release from police, the theft was reported at 7 p.m. and occurred in the 6500 block of S. 28th Street where authorities said surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle was taken.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older, white, two-door Ford F-250 extended cab and appears to have a two-tone colored bed.

The travel trailer is a 2015 Wildwood.
