Traffic shift for Edinburg to Harlingen connector delayed

The Texas Department of Transportation announced that the traffic shift for the “Edinburg to Harlingen” direct connector (DC3) will be delayed until later Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning.

According to a news release, there is additional work needed to prepare the route for the temporary traffic shift at the I-2/I-69C Pharr Interchange.

“The existing, single-lane ‘Edinburg to Harlingen’ connector at the Pharr Interchange will remain open on Wednesday, July 6,” the release read.
