Two new eateries headed to Brownsville

A couple of new eateries are coming to Brownsville at the same location, bringing hotdogs and teriyaki chicken.

A Wienerschnitzel and Teriyaki Madness will be constructed at Lourdes Landings located at 7501 Padre Island Highway, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration.

Construction on both is scheduled to begin in October and will be completed in December, according to TDLR.

Wienerschnitzel was founded in 1961 by John Galardi with a single location in Southern California. Wienerschnitzel has grown to be the world’s largest hot dog chain, according to its website.

Teriyaki Madness was founded in 2003 and currently has franchise agreements for nearly 150 locations in the U.S., according to its website.
