The McAllen Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that left one man wounded.
According to a news release from police, a person called the department regarding a possible shooting nearby.
Officers located the wounded victim in the 1900 block of Oakland Ave.
The victim was transported to a local hospital while the investigation remains ongoing, the release said.
McAllen PD would like anyone with information regarding the crime to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956-687-8477. Any information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
