Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. has extended his emergency management order until March 5. The amended order takes effect at 12:01 p.m. Friday.
Trevino says his order is in accordance with Gov. Greg Abbott’s Executive order which means all restaurants can only serve customers at 50% capacity and all bars remain closed.
The governor’s order will not change until there has been seven consecutive days in which COVID-19 hospitalizations across the state total 15% or less.
