The City of Harlingen is making sandbags available to residents and businesses Saturday, August 20, as tropical weather continues to intensify. The sandbags will be available at the Public Works Facility located at 404 South 54th Street from 7 a.m. until noon.

With a tropical disturbance expected to bring heavy rain into Cameron County Saturday or Saturday evening, the county and city of Brownsville will hold sandbag distribution events beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday.
